Dace on Swirl

Canadian brand Dace is on Swirl right now at 50-60% off. I like this sweater, $89 (was $220).

Bird Warehouse Sale

For those who can go to the Bird warehouse sale in Brooklyn, I envy you. For the rest of us, it seems like they have some of it online. I like this Tsumori Chisato t-shirt for $89 (was $356), and these Suno x Loeffler Randall sandals for $109 (were $460). There are some nice non-crazy patterned things on sale (here and here, for example) too.

Unrequited Oxfords Love

I keep gravitating toward oxfords, but they never seem to work with my wardrobe or look good on my feet. I still want them though. From above, Woman by Common Projects red slip-on oxford on sale at Creatures of Comfort for $134.70 (were $449, but only size 41 left); new A Detacher size 9 black wedge oxfords currently on eBay for $50 with 1 bid and 1 day, 15 hours left (were originally $380); and red 1940s style red heeled oxfords by Swedish Hasbeens, on sale at Yoox for $149 (originally $300+).

Vintage Marimekko

Attention fellow Marimekko fans, there are some good vintage clothing pieces being unloaded right now on eBay. I can't get enough of these prints. My two favorites are, from above, this 1960s orange and light blue/purple dress, currently $40 with 2 bids and 2 days, 15 hours left, and this purple, red and orange leisure suit (!), dated 1970, currently $29 with the same amount of time left and no bids. Sizes are marked 12 and 8 respectively, but check measurements as vintage Marimekko sizes definitely run small.

Plaid Shirts

The colors look a bit washed out here, but these grid-like Steven Alan shirts appeal to me more than the usual plaid. From above, $47, $63, and $71 (all were $158), at Tobi. Get an extra 15% off when you become a Tobi fan on facebook through August 15 (details here).

Outnet Clearance

A clearance sale at the Outnet just started, and things are already selling out fast. At up to 85% off, there's still a lot under $100 from See by Chloe, Vanessa Bruno, Adam, McQ, Minimarket and more. You have to be a member (free and easy) to access it. Through the weekend.

A.P.C. Madras at Urban Outfitters

Somehow this did not fully register on my radar. I will be sure to pay more attention here on in, since Urban's size enables it to put everything on sale. From above, blue silk shirtdress, $99 (was $335), gray petit standard jeans $49.99 (were $195), and red suede peep-toe flats $99 (were $210). I already have the flats in blue and they are unbelievably comfortable. Plenty of other stuff for even less, too.

Lina Rennell

Lina Rennell makes amazing handmade cotton prints. From above, pink linen "briefcase" blouse, $143.50 (was $205) from Pour Porter, yellow hemp silk scarf for $110 (was $160) from Beklina, cotton aloe print tank for $129.50 (was $185) at Pour Porter and $140 (was $190) from Beklina, and blue triangles fabric yardage, $36 per 1/2 yard from Beklina. At Beklina now through Sunday, spend a whopping $650 and get 40% off with code 40please (which brings things down to $390). Way beyond my price point, but makes for a lot of Lina Rennell.

Peach + Green

Is a combination -- captured nicely in this photo -- I've really liked lately. Silk jacket $149.50 (was $299) from the in-house brand at Creatures of Comfort. Nice dark green silk pants by Apiece Apart, available in a size 8 from Les Nouvelles on their online shop for $124 and on eBay for $98 (were $356), would do the trick.

Back in the Saddle

I just got back home from a month of traveling and will resume aprovecharse henceforth. I also just bought these purple patent leather Rachel Comey penpal boots from the online store 11th Moon, which I only know about because of the great 50% off deal they have going now through the next week on Refinery 29's Reserve. You buy a coupon from Reserve and then apply it to anything on the site. Spend $75 and get $150 and so on -- these boots (originally $375) were $112.50 (though if I had bought the $150 coupon instead of the $75 one and bought something else too, they would have been $93.75).
