Labor Day Sales on Sale

Bird Warehouse Sale

For those who can go to the Bird warehouse sale in Brooklyn, I envy you. For the rest of us, it seems like they have some of it online. I like this Tsumori Chisato t-shirt for $89 (was $356), and these Suno x Loeffler Randall sandals for $109 (were $460). There are some nice non-crazy patterned things on sale (here and here, for example) too.

Outnet Clearance

A clearance sale at the Outnet just started, and things are already selling out fast. At up to 85% off, there's still a lot under $100 from See by Chloe, Vanessa Bruno, Adam, McQ, Minimarket and more. You have to be a member (free and easy) to access it. Through the weekend.

50% off Blowout Sale at Moxsie

Unless I'm mistaken, everything is 50% off (with code BLOWOUT50) for a limited time at Moxsie, an online retailer that highlights independent designers. This means 50% off Mary Meyer, Dusen Dusen, Marais, and other fun brands.

Hayden-Harnett Sale

Hayden-Harnett sale on leather items and other stuff, going on now in their Brooklyn store and online. The code SECRETSALE takes an extra 50% off the sale items, but this may or may not only be for people on their mailing list. If you need a new passport case, this is it.

Sales in Brooklyn

Sample/Warehouse sale at über-cool, slightly goth store Oak (with friends Pleasure Principle, Hyden Yoo, Funktional, Standard Issue, Unif, and Them Atelier) at 208 N. 8th St. in Brooklyn (between Roebling and Driggs), today and tomorrow 11-8, Sunday 11-7 -- cash only.

While in Brooklyn, check out Mary Meyer's pop up shop at the 70 Greenpoint Ave. In God We Trust tomorrow, April 16, from 12-8 for the new spring line, drinks and discounts.

Shop for Japan

Clearly natural disasters, economic downturns, and acts of violence call for more than just shopping. But there are two good sample sales in New York (where I actually am! Yes!) in the next few days that will benefit the ongoing situation in Japan. The first is United Bamboo, where 100% of the proceeds from clothing and other goods at up to 90% off will go to tsunami relief (through tomorrow, March 23, at 217 Centre St. between Grand and Howard, 6th floor, from 11 am to 8 pm). The second, above, is a 3.1 Philip Lim sample sale this Thursday and Friday, at 260 West 39th St., between 7th and 8th avenues, 17th floor, from 10 am to 6 pm.

Creatures of Comfort Blowout Sale

Today and tomorrow 12-7, 435 Broome Street, between Crosby and Broadway. Up to 90% off a lot of great brands stocked by Creatures of Comfort (MM6, Acne, Rachel Comey, A.P.C.) and other designers (Hansel from Basel, Dieppa Restrepo, etc.). Jealous.

Cyber Monday Most Wanted

Deals are offered on just about every site through today. Post Thanksgiving binge, I don't necessarily feel like shopping for new clothes. But there are obviously a ton of sales today including discounts on many things I've recently posted.
