Totokaelo

I love this intarsia sweater by Danish brand Won Hundred for $150 (was $300) and a ton of other things on sale at Seattle boutique Totokaelo. Most of it is still out of reach, but the photographs are so well done it is still worth looking (photo courtesy of Totokaelo).

More tempting season-end sales: Rachel Comey Sir Barton red suede booties in a size 6 (I have these in nude, and they are the most comfortable boots ever) $163 (were $341) at Revolve with code TULIP; and navy slingbacks with gold heels in multiple sizes $125 (were $357) at Creatures of Comfort (whose sale also just got ratcheted up to 70%).

Sale at Bird

 

 The sale at great Brooklyn boutique Bird just went up to 75%. I like this silk and linen Rachel Comey top for $89 (was $370) and these TENOVERSIX black suede quilted booties for $129 (were $320). I'm sure it will all go fast.

J.Crew

J.Crew is offering 40% off sale items with code OURTREAT. From above, petite wool and nylon coat $90 (was $325); teal tall Minnie pants $41.99 (were $98); pink cashmere henley sweater $96 (was $198); and red pants $54 (were $118). There are lots of neutrals on sale too.

Pink and Green

My interest in dark green and light pink/peach continues (see here, here, and here). Am I the only one who thinks these could work together?

More Virginia Johnson Shawls

Virginia Johnson's iconic camel-print shawl in ivory and green in the now hard to find heavier weight is currently on eBay for $127.50 with 15 bids and just under 2 days left. Some newer, lighter weight camel prints in pink and gray are on sale with a few other styles for $125 (were $198) at Mezzanine, and Virginia Johnson's own site is having a 30% off sale on all shawls including this striped one for $136.50 (was $198, although it appears the fabulous bear print, shown here, just sold out).

Basic Knits

I tend not to gravitate toward the basic and useful, but New York knitwear brand Inhabit is having a site wide sale where everything is 70% off plus an extra $20 off with code Cashmere. I like this blue wool and cotton sweater for $66.40 (was $288), but there are several nice cashmere pieces too.

Buy This Dress!

To the few of you who may be reading this: one of you should buy this size small new with tags wool Helmut Lang cowl neck dress for $75 with Buy it Now from eBay before it expires on Sunday morning. I have this dress, which I spent more on from Tokio 7 presumably used. It is comfortable, fairly warm but not too heavy, and I think quite flattering. I even thought about buying this one too is how much I like it. Do it!

Long Dresses

I've never been a fan of long dresses or skirts, but these and SF winters are helping me come around. From top, Mary Meyer black and white cotton dress for $58 at La Dama (original price around $150-$200); gray and black cupro dress by Obesity and Speed for $102 from Bona Drag (was $170); and multi-color dress by Juma for $168 at Kaight (originally $225).
